Came upon this while researching lens calibration... Interesting social experiment...

The responses from the people are interesting, and at times, amusing. I cracked up when one couple said they just thought it was all a part of New York.

And... The Polaroid One Step is continues to be marketed. I was surprised to see it on the shelves in a store, Best Buy I believe, a few weeks ago.

The video you link to raises a number of questions. The photographer asks the subject, would you like this photo and hands them a Polaroid shot that hasn't developed yet, so they can't even tell what the photo is. There is a videographer in the background recording the interaction, so right away this "experiment" has nothing to do with true candid street photography. Finally, the photographer is a young, smiling, totally unthreatening figure (unlike me, an old, unsmiling, intimidating figure).
