I have an uncle who served under GSP and would, til his death at 94, be ready to fight if anyone said anything bad about him.

In the left’s defense, in WWII they do give us Neville Chamberlain ... a very nice fellow who almost got us all k**led.

Meanwhile an extremely unpopular, because of his gruff and rude nature Churchill saved the world.

That is the point with libs hating Trump and his way of speaking.
They just are a bit slow and it blew over their heads.

Got it.

I was tying it in also to earlier claims that it’s more important to be nice.

Nothing blew over anybody’s heads. Your point is lost in your over exaggerated opinion of yourself.
What you apparently fail to understand is that any comparison of Trump and a man like Patton is ridiculously flawed; and only a misguided Trump supporter would entertain the thought.
It is a silly world In which we live.

I had a Great Uncle who did as well. He said George C Scott did a great job except for Patton's high and squeeky voice. He also said that Patton was the only General the Germans really feared.

Libs cry and whine about the way the President speaks.
Yet unemployment for women,b****s and hispanics is the lowest in history, stock market is highest ever, we are building the wall, we got out of the TPP and Paris C*****e c****e, new USMCA deal, China deal coming down and ISIS which was fostered by obummer and he gave them a huge caliph**e of territory and they publically beheaded American men and women while obummer cheered Trump crushed in a year and obummer care was wiped out through the removal of the individual mandate.
Thank God for Trump and the way he talks.

If we still have Democratic e******ns after two years of socialism, I think we'll put that experiment in the rear view mirror.

Little known fact about Patton it was his mouth that kept him from getting a fifth star. He became general in the Army (four stars) not General of the Army ( five stars)

Yes that is true.
He was an action general, yes made mistakes too.
We know the Germans feared him more than any other field commander on the western front. To me that says it all. Just his presence in England paralyzed them long enough for the allies to establish a secure beach head in Normandy. Now that is real power. So yes, there were senior commanders who did not like a man of action and rough words but he did get the job done including the 101st Airborne in Bastogne, thank God for such commanders who loved country more than political correctness, sort of reminds me of President Trump loving the USA and taking on the evil swamp that has now admitted that this crap is a c**p planned carefully since the e******n and they even use the word c**p.

Patton was kind of fired, twice, once was for his mouth. Did you serve with him Arch? Or were you too old by then?
