Hi,
I am considering purchasing a HS20EXR Fujifilm camera but I read recently that earlier this year some of this model camera were suffering from over heating. I read there was a firmware fix. Can you please tell mee if this problem is now no longer a problem or not.
Thank You
Ken
I would also be interested to know because I am also considering going in for this model. However, whatever review I have read about this, has not raised any such issue, and mostly they are very good.
Some of the first production models of the HS20 had a glitch that gave an inaccurate report of overheating. Fuji created a simple firmware fix. I have one of the first units and have had no problem with it. Use the camera every day and I can report that it performs as advertized. Also love the AA battery supply feature. When in the field it is handy if your recharge supply poops out on you.
