If your east coast American Oystercatcher is as loud as our west coast Black Oystercatcher, they are difficult to ignore. Nice catch here, they are interesting birds.

They are very loud Phil. For the on the wing images we were standing in the boat, in the inlet, watxhing dolphins and taking thwir pictures.
Youll notice I was a tad late on the shutter on the BIF images. They were whisteling as they came in and I just barely got them in my viewfinder. Were it not for them singing out I would have missed them
