A little dark, but how the photos looked coming straight out of the camera with no editing.

These are very nice. I love the wings in the first. Are you opposed to post processing? I think it could make a big difference in these.

Not really opposed to post processing, but I normally just shoot jpegs. And, I have no idea how to use Lightroom or other programs. Have tried Capture One on a few RAW photos with not much results since I don't really know what I am doing with it. Maybe some day, but don't see it any time soon probably.

That’s fine. I actually enjoy processing so it’s a natural for me. I use Affinity which I think is an excellent program. If you do decide to get into processing it is probably wise to shoot both jpg and raw. That way you have your pictures and you can play around with the raw files until you are comfortable.

Very nice action set. I agree, post processing would really help these images.

Thank you. These were shot in jpeg, so probably not many options now.

Very nice!! We have a blue heron that hangs around a pond near our home. I swear he knows whenever I get close because the only inflight shot I've ever gotten is of his/her behind as it flies away.

Thank you . At times we had 5 or more blue herons in a diversion channel of the river. There's a hiking/biking trail that runs along the channel for over a mile. I walked that and was on the way back when I saw this one. I got lucky just as it started to fly and was on continuous shooting so got quite a few shots, with this being the best 2. Sometimes I would stand there, with camera ready, just for when they might take off.

Thank you Joe. One of my lucky captures a couple years ago.
