This may be my last post on my recent trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Several people asked about the brown water for Tahquamenon Falls. Per Wikipedia, The water is notably brown in color from the tannins leached from the cedar swamps which the river drains.
A beautiful set. Great composition and lighting on all. Appreciate your dialogue at the beginning. Mahalo for sharing.
Wonderful reminder of home... except for the 'gator'! Nice work! 👍🤓👍
Great shots! I especially like the water falls. I am headed around Lake Superior later this week hoping there is still some color left. Then I will spend the better part of the week at 10 mile beach in PR National Park. Best time of the year for up there. Thanks again.

All excellent, but, particularly #3!
Beautiful images - great set!
Excellent series! Beautiful land scapes but I didn’t know there were alligators up there.
Excellent set. I had guessed tannins in your first post.
Thank you, all, very much for your very nice comments!
