Many local businesses have closed over the past couple of decades. There used to be a large origami company a couple of miles from me, and they turned out some nice products, but overnight, they folded up.

Tough time for a lot of businesses, it's a changing world and some old business models no longer apply, changes in technology and personal tastes change the way and what we purchase.

They had been rotating their material in a centrifugal fashion during the process since the business opened. Their adoption of a linear, gravity assisted paper bending process was rather sudden

Not since my embrace of hyper-specificity Since the anti-hyperbole and anti-obfuscatory meds were prescribed, I've almost entirely kicked the habit Really, I don't need that pointless adrenaline rush at all , any more , ever again

Many businesses folding. Competition from giants like Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot. And of course Amazon's dirty tricks and scorched earth practices. A wonderful hardware/lumber store near me is currently having its out of business sale.
