Went to get some meds today and as usual had my Canon 90D and Tamron 18-400mm lens. ALL C&C is welcome and thank you for stopping by. All detail will be with the photo.

Very nice Greg! They show up in some unlikely places. Got to shoot them where you find them, good work.

Nice, Greg. I think they are at their most graceful when they are taking those long purposeful strides. They look like they are late to punch the time clock.

Chief, I agree with you when they use those long legs. I was blessed that it was so close to the truck, just can not walk far with the knees feeling like they are.

What a great shot Greg! Just out for a walk! Nice composition in this shot. We have a resident heron, "Harold", who fishes every day in the lake across the street on the 14th hole. He's fun to watch.

Doc, I have always enjoyed watching these herons. While I fished in Florida I would watch them eat lot of different items and whenever they came across a snake small enough they would always take it down. I used to think of them being Florida's "Roadrunner".
