Pick a theme and stick with it for 3 days.
Pick a theme, any theme, and post nothing that doesn’t fit in that theme for this entire challenge.

Please declare your choice of “theme” with your first post.

Some ideas:
Sea Birds
Architecture
Forests
White on white photographs
Animals
Soccer
…and so many more … these are just to get you thinking.

I think it best to not select a theme like “The World” that anything would fit…challenge yourself to think about a topic and try to cover it in as many different ways as you can think of.

Intro: I’ve been here a while now, but still think of myself as “the New Kid”. As introduction, my stage name comes from the mathematical element the Asymptote, which is:
“a line that continually approaches a given curve but does not meet it at any finite distance.”
In common language, it is something that continues to get closer and closer to a goal, but, sadly, will never reach it. That’s me! Whatever I try in life, oh, let’s say …Photography, improves as time and practice happens, but I never get to the end of that journey. There is always more to do, more to learn, more to try.

So, come along on this trip…

Word of warning, I am not in possession of a character that allows (or requires) me to make comments on everything…I hope that is interpreted as “if I do, I really mean it”, because that is the truth. I have been somewhat reluctant to participate in this way because of that, so…with your indulgences…here we go…
Have Fun!

I think I will try Food in unusual ways….like this:

.

Bend the Light Fantastic…a glass of water and some familiar foods – Peach, Banana and you know.

.. So, this Good Egg was gonna take a selfie of the group and was balanced precariously to gain a good perspective…
.. ...

….and…… then, he just wanted one more step back, to get the perfect framing….and…

Great start, and some wonderful images, Asymptotic!

When I read your challenge, one thought came to mind immediately...
...and no, it wasn't cars...

...it was granddaughters!

OK, then. One more right now.
More later ... time permitting.

Not using a microscope ... but
on a laptop screen the image
is about 6X to 10X lifesize.

I was tempted to put "old corvettes" in the suggestions, but I knew that would just bait you...I have two of those things (granddaughters) too, so I'll look forward to your special images.

Ok, this should be interesting. I like the photos submitted so far. Good ones of the Granddaughters, and love the macro or through the glass images. That peach could be a women's backside but it also has a navel. Maybe a contortionist? Anyway, my theme will be butterflies. Here are a few for today.
