It's advertising. Advertising photos almost always attempt to make the product look as attractive as possible, whether it's a cheeseburger, or a glass of milk or a house or a model. Every now and then they publish pictures of movie actresses without their makeup. The difference between the reality and their movie star image can be astounding. When we looked for a house we saw a beauty online. When we showed up to see it the yard was full of mole holes and soft spots and there was a half inch empty gap between the hardwood floors in the living room and dining room. But online it looked like a dream home. The pics on the house we did buy were so poor that the realtor volunteered to look at it first so we wouldn't waste our time. If it hadn't been for the bad pics we probably wouldn't have had to opportunity to buy it.
