RMNP is northwest of Denver, aka Rocky Mountain National Park. Magpies seemed to be all over the Moraine Meadow. People are used to having them around.

Rocky Mountain National Park. 1st trip out there. I had never seen a magpie till then.

Just wondering: Would it have worked had you cropped so that we could see the bird better 
It really is outstanding but, to me, dwarfed by that amazing background, which could have been shot later in a separate snap - to great effect. Just asking...

Thanks! Haven't been here in awhile and just now saw this. Will try looking back in my photos sometime and try the cropping and see how it looks. Thanks for suggestion.
