Hi all
I’m super excited to have found this site. I’ve always loved taking photos to capture memories or spectacular sites. Ive defaulted to my phone as my primary camera, simply because I have it with me. You know the saying. It is the best camera...
Anyway, looking forward to sharing and learning from you!
Happy Fall

Nice picture! I have had honorable mention and came in second place in our county’s photo club that I belong too, normally 500+ photos are to be judge bye 3 professional photographer. I do own a Nikon D7500 that I also use. Phones are best in close up, and street scenes. Both awards were with my IPhone.

That looks like a terrific dog. What is its name?

Welcome to the forum!

Here is a photograph of Lucy. She is my Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog. She is 12 and is the leader of the pack in the household. She lets everyone know what they are doing wrong.

Then there is Bentley. We rescued him because we though he was albino. It turns out he is a Labrador/Dalmation mix. All of his spots are on his belly. He is 4 and still acts like a puppy especially getting into mischief. He is good for a lot of laughs even if he chew up the plastic dustpan.

Your fur babies are wonderful!
Her name is Onyx. We rescued her at a year old in 2009. She was supposed to be our sons dog, she had other ideas - she is definitely my girl.
We love her to pieces. She is too smart for her own good - naughty! She unrolls the TP and brings us the end to us in the living room if we aren’t paying enough attention to her.

She is a Pretty girl, and Clever She's trying to reel you in with the TP..lol
She's quite a bit younger in this shot than Her Portrait shot above.

Yes, many of us have "Smartphone" cameras, that do take very nice images. Although they are limited in their "Creative" ability, and they are getting more advanced. Where as a DSLR or MIRRORLESS camera still in my opinion a much more qualified Photography Tool.

Welcome, and nice photo.

Some folks here go spastic about cell phone shots, but I just ignore them. Keep on shooting!
