24-105 mm STM, my neighbour has this and it is a very useful size comparable to the 15-85 efs on my 60D. I have 70-300 'L' series zoom to cover the top range and will be looking for higher quality low down. I thought the 24-105 'L' and would likely have got it had I not already got part of the range covered.

Congrats! I'm sure you will have fun exploring your camera's capabilities.
BTW, 'Real' guys know the truth: You never read the manual first. They only exist so that you can figure out where you screwed up! I learned that with my first paint sprayer. As an added bonus my neighbor's dog and chickens never came on my property again!
