I shot this small bush close up at ground level. I liked the texture of the branches. The pictures needed another element so I added the Princess.

Being a fan of Fractured Fairy Tales, I see this scene being shot just before the Frog-Prince (life sized) knocked her over by his leap-through.
Good work on the overall image,
Jim - that is a great looking image!!! You have some serious processing skills.
It held my attention - Interesting.

I'm happy I got you fantasizing about this place in time.π

Thank you so much Bill. I totally love working within Photoshop. Once I start on processing a picture I get zoned in and all my day to day problems go away.π

Thank you for your comments. I was hoping people would stop and pause with this picture.π

One impression: The Autumn queen trying to decide how to change the green into fall colors.

Fractured Fairy Tales ROCKED! Narrated by Edward Everett Horton, it was a staple on the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show. And I always waited in anticipation for the book to slam shut on the hovering fairy!
Your image is very creative and somewhat "Hobbity" and I really like it - great to combine the close-up of the bush with the full-size princess...

I like it (the photo and the concept) a lot. If you don't mind one bit of a suggestion, the brush almost seems sharper than the princess. Maybe if you slightly blur (not crazy blur, but just by a few pixels) and if you use lightroom, use the dehaze slider, but actually add just a touch of haze to the background, it may make it a touch more realistic??? Maybe. It's just something I would try with mine. I tend to do more sports composites, so my idea may be completely off. It would be fun to try, though.

I tried all the suggestions before I posted this version. I didn't think they helped either reality or fantasy. If you would like to try and show your results you're entirely welcome.
