First ever images using a 3 light set up (Key, fill, hair). These were continuous lights, not flash. I realize the backdrop is a bit lacking.
One of my very favorite models agreed to help me out
She is a delightful blend of all things girly as well as enjoying hunting and fishing.
I have a sum total of ONE workshop as experience, but am so looking forward to learning more!

Thank you! We think so, too 😊
Nice first efforts and a fetching young model but I think the vivid lipstick is a bit much for a child.
Could be a young Taylor Swift.

Haha, yeah, that was her mom's idea. I agree. Thanks for having a look!
Could she be persuaded to be a model for you as a "child" instead of as a tiny adult? There's an impish quality about her that doesn't fit with the "dressed up little adult" image that she presents. Your photography works very well though, and that's with only the one workshop as your experience. Keep up the good work, and maybe your model can be persuaded to not rush to grow up! :)

Thanks for the encouragement!

Lovely girl. Hope you can photograph her for years to come.

Agree with MichaelEBM, unless it was a total spoof on age inappropriate makeup artistry...
Haymaker there are literally hundreds of aspiring "models" on IG who are 18 or older...
Many would cherish an opportunity to collaborate with you...
Provided you have a "commercial" look to your IG presence...
FYI you might want to search model agencies in major markets (i.e. NYC, Chicago, LA, Miami etc.) who have a "Child Model" division... Study their head shots and comp cards carefully in order to appreciate what is germane and appropriate at the commercial level...
Child portraiture is a substantial and lucrative market, albeit it is dominated by female photographers...
btw, the hair styling on the third image is superb! Excellently done...
Shooting beauty genre can be (and often is) a serious challenge... enough said.
While I'm a major fan of Tulle maybe not so much of firearms and children... irregardless of gender...
Hope this helps Haymaker, or is at least food for thought...
I wish you well on your journey...
