I bet his friends liked it just as much as he did😊
Way too cute Robertven... wonderful soft even illumination...
Must have been an absolutely delightful event for this young gentleman...
Thank you for sharing...
The following suggestions are gleaned from my own experiences in portraiture...
I trust that they might have merit or at least be food for thought...
On composition: What might have enhanced this delightful scenario?
When doing portraiture of young adults it often helps to have the lens at or below their eye level...
Why? It increases "little" people's perceived status in a viewer's eyes...
On a technical note: Instead of f/8 possibly might have considered shooting wide open at f/4 with your EF 24-105mm f/4 IS USM lens in order to virtually mitigate background distractions.
btw the Auto White Balance on your Canon 5D Mark III did a fabulous job dealing with this somewhat complex illumination scheme...
Again thank you for sharing this delightful narrative Robertven...
All the best on your journey...
Thank you very much for your insight and knowledge. Good suggestions. I love it when my photos are critiqued. That is a great way to learn. Thanks again!
