Beautiful images, Donna. It does surprise me that you would keep caged birds, though. I'm not "dissing" you, just wondering.

Thanks so much, Ken. I'm not offended by your statement but curious as to why you would be surprised.

You have always struck me as "wildlife conscious", Donna. Some people get offended by caging birds. It doesn't bother me. I was just musing. They are beautiful pets, that's for sure.

Not offended in the least, Ken, but I wonder if those same people are bothered by the domestication of any animal.

Thank you so much, Sylvia! They're loving, gentle little birds and are a such a delight. They also enjoy doing free manicures. lol

Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Carol! These babies are some of the sweetest little birds I've ever seen, and I'm so glad you enjoyed them.

Beautiful images Donna. My brother in law had a couple of cockatoos and they thought themselves to be part of the family. Of course wall to wall cages tend to be messy.

Thank you so much, Janos! I'm so glad you enjoyed them, and you are so right about birds being messy members of the family!

Donna, what a delightful set of photos of the newest additions to your family! As usual, just wonderful photography, and I'm especially loving the second photo of Sassy - what beautiful lighting you captured in that shot!

Sandy, thank you so very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed 'the girls', and I'm glad you especially liked Sassy's fluffy pose. I thought the light really enhanced her plumage. She's such a sweet, docile little charmer, and I'm so glad you enjoyed!
