From iPhone to iPad Processing to Photoshop finishing

Just for the sake of sharing an experience, and perhaps having others share theirs along the lines of this workflow. I took picture of a workboat from a restaurant, thinking I might use somehow the array of machinery, but not having a clear idea. Later, working on my iPad, I wondered if I could PP on it anywhere near as well as I can on my MaBook Pro.

I was surprised how much Photoshop Express offered on the iPad. I did most of the work there, then sent it directly (a PS Express option) to Photoshop on my Mac (which was asleep in another room), an apparent benefit if subscribed to PhotoShop CC.

In PhotoShop on the Mac, I had to reintensify a bit, since what arrived seeming to be less vibrant and saturated than it did on the iPad. While at it, I did a few other things to fit in with my intent to show detail in a confusion of shapes and colors, being held together compositionally with rhythm and balance.

The original and pp are shown.

AND---I also emailed the PS Express to myself. That turned out to look exactly like I processed it! Anyone know what's going on? (Third photo is the photo emailed from iPad's PS Express, unchanged.)

I sometimes have similar troubles that I suspect come from my screen brightness settings. Trying to coordinate the iPad and IMac screens can be a pain. The largest dilemma for me is that the iPad will change automatically when the light source changes. I have True Tone and Night Shift turned off and the problem persists.

Aha! Thanks for the input.
