This building was an old gas station. Its original location was in Weatherford, Tx. Its was purchased by an elderly gentleman and he took it apart and moved it about 60 miles SW to Granbury Tx. I don't know all his intentions for the building but he set it up along with the metal building in the background. He since has died of cancer and his family wants to keep the buildings and offered to lease them out to a photographer friend of mine to use as a studio. I can see so many opportunities for great shots around and inside these buildings. Need some more work with electric and AC before he moves in. Inside Gas station is about 12 x 18 with 12 ft ceilings. The steel building is about double the size.

Cool building, but looks a bit restrictive.

It is cool. How different is this as a site from the "back in the day" of only "wet photography." Making a darkroom here would likely make the windows an ugly joke. Now, it'd make a fine studio, for nearly any kind of 2D art, being around the size of many such studios.

You'r right on the gas station but the metal building is part of the lease and it is about 18 by 20 maybe.

I'm visioning having the models outside around the doors posts and windows. Maybe a sport car under the cover area. Shooting with lots of lighting effects. 🤔

The metal building with the diagonal wood slatted door and wood platform is an other outside area to work with. Will be posting pictures in a month or so using different areas.

The gas station building might be worked into a portrait studio but beyond that it is far to size restricted. A steel building in Texas will require some serious A/C and insulation work. I would walk away from this

It certainly looks like it has possibilities. I would use it as my photography den, away from the world.

The gas station is a bit small but you can shoot full body shots in the area. The metal building is much bigger. It is insulated and sheet rocked with neutral grey paint.
