Two things I have been enjoying playing around with are silhouettes (especially with our beautiful sunsets around here) and the use of shadows to make photos interesting. I probably have a lot to learn about both techniques, so I am hoping to gain some inspiration by seeing your photos using either or both of the techniques. I am looking forward to seeing your submissions!

Nice start to the challenge.
My shadow taking a photo across a foggy field.
Early Morning Shadows and Mountain Goat up on top of Mount Evans, Colorado.
This was taken on my most recent vacation in Spain in July. I was going upstairs to grab something else and couldn't resist.
Here's a shot I can get one week a year, w/the sun filtering thru the windowblinds; casting shadows on the wall of the hallway outside my room - onto the wall that sports a lightswitch.
The switch is off & I waited til the shadow came right up to the switch… note the switch's shadow
Now I know why it's called Golden Hour…
