You sillies!
Wrong!
The image is from the promotional images for Jenny KNOX's Construction Workers Work Shop, she made close to $1,000, she was a vary happy model! That is a Milwaukee Industrial "Super Saws All"*, Variable speed unit. It was but $36 dollars from a pawn shop in like new condition. KNOX loved this power house tool.
During photography sessions, I usually leave the photographers and model(s) to do their work without my hovering around. I was in the main studio building and I got that weird feeling that something was wrong, I let it pass. Then it returned even stronger. So I went outside to where the session was in progress. I looked, paused, then screamed at the top of my voice "STOP!!!". Everyone turned and KNOX stopped.
KNOX was up on the roof area doing the demolition. I then pointed out to Ms. KNOX that the 2X4 holding the roof area she was cutting through was all that was holding her up, and once cut she would fall some 12 feet into a pile of demolition scraps!
All them boys rushed to grab her (I was thinking of grabbing her, but then I grabbed the ladder up against the wall, pushed my way through the dozen of camera holding men and suggested that she descend the ladder a bit from the top and complete her cut.
Naturally, being a vary naughty boy, and knowing just how naughty KNOX is, I posed her on the ladder high up, turned to the men and suggested that perhaps they all slow down a bit because we were doing photographs and not really doing demolition REMEMBER!
The whole time KNOX was up the top of the ladder twisted in a half turned pose, smiling down at a dozen admiring men some were even taking a quick snap of her with me holding her, leaning against her. I am so tall and large I covered her lower half, so they could not see that I has the real naughty one, playing with her signature modeling artifact a medium size black plug!
Yes, saved from a fall, and with her Milwaukee Saws All in her one hand, bracing herself on the ladder smiling away while I directed the boys to get some low angle shots of the hammer pressing into her round tushie as she balanced on the ladder offering quite a lovely lush view that boys just delight in making.
So, yes, always keep in mind safety but always stay focused on the goals, the model is there to model and the boys are there to make all types of images. Take your time, think about what you can do to make some super fine images, but remember you are there to create some grand images and never ever forget to have loads of fun. The woman are there to model, have fun, and have a memorable experience (most are not in it for the money, at least till it's over!).
First image is KNOX with the saws all, scaffold in place, but at the base. I suggested that the photographers take advantage and do some aerial views of KNOX cutting with this powerful tool. Oh, as part of the shoot I used Pam Olive Oil cooking spray on KNOX and took some fine saw dust from the table saw to lightly dust her body as a sweating work girl! Details, it's all in the details.
Then KNOX is screwing around with the hole shooter (yes, hole shooter, that is what it is called; a drill is what sits on a bench, in generally a vertical position, with a bed below to hold the stock when making holes in the stock), removing a screw (or rightly called a fastener).
Last is the image that I settled on for the main promotional image for that workshop. I guess the photographer liked it, KNOX asked if the claw hammer could be seen biting into her tushie! Yes, we added the T-Back to sort of cover the obvious 'other tool' not in her belt!
And that my friends is a basic set of guide lines to making erotic images during the basic confines of a great theme/idea!
*Registered Trade Mark name for Milwaukee's reciprocating saw.
Safety note: If you are working with a model with nipple piercings, fish net hose can become quite troublesome when the model is kneeling down, close with breasts near the fish nets; the fish nets get caught easily in the posts and it is quite painful for your model!
