Walked out of my garage, weed killer in hand, best of intentions, then I looked up and saw this sitting in a tree. What would you have done?

Thanks Doc. He stayed there for about 10 minutes preening. Unfortunately he turned around and 1 feather sticking out was blocking his face. The camera was sitting right inside the door as usual when I'm working in the yard. Always ready for an excuse to take a break.

I’m guessing that stern look was his disapproval of your choice to use weed killer to contribute to the destruction of our planet.

I think 'be prepared' was something I learned in boy scouts, many, many years ago. I guess I learned at least one lesson.
