Went on a ride yesterday and got lucky enough to spot these Whooping Cranes. First time I've ever saw one in the wild. Just awesome.

Lucky you and btw, great photo of a beautiful bird. Wife & I saw a pair near Lake Apopka in Florida about 12 years ago, only time I've even seen them in the wild.
Great catch! I notice the heavy banding on the leg of the far bird.
Wow, Whooping Cranes, have only seen them once on the Spring Sandhill Crane Migration between Grand Island and Kearney, Nebraska and once on a boat wildlife tour at Aransas Wildlife Refuge near Rockport, Texas...Beautiful Picture,,,,I hope they continue to survive we humans....
