Loc: New England, But Now & Forever SoTX
2-seat "tub" used for incentive flights and for carrying Flight Surgeons or other Pax
Pretty jet non the less
Looks like a Trainer-Aircraft .......not the F18 Hornet I see at the Naval Academy in Annapolis.
Not sure exactly what this one is...could be mistaken...my eyes are old now.

Certainly not one of the blue angles F-18s. Looks like a blue angle wanna be. Oh and they don’t usually travel with just one airplane.

Excellent photo but not really a true Blue Angel....new BA aircraft will be the F-18D in 2021
This looks like the L39 albatross and it also looks like it has an N number registration where all military aircraft uses the BU Number.
Per Wikipedia:
"The show's narrator flies Blue Angel 7, a two-seat F/A-18D Hornet, to show sites. The Blues use this jet for backup, and to give demonstration rides to VIP civilians. Three backseats at each show are available; one of them goes to members of the press, the other two to "Key Influencers".[12] The No. 4 slot pilot often flies the No. 7 aircraft in Friday's "practice" shows. "
They also use this aircraft for "advanced visits" to a site. Kansas City, MO. was listed as a show site for July 6-7, 2019.

Never knew the Blues to fly anything other than the F-18's (or appropriate air show aircraft) including the Demo aircraft and the C-130 as logistic support, certainly not a trainor....maybe something new though.
