This is a photo of a young lady I photographed two or three years back. I used the 70/200mm lens and a Godox AD360 in a 42” bounce umbrella. Settings were ISO 200, Shutter speed 1/100, aperture f/2.8. The scene metered at f/8, So I moved my light in and set it for f/8. I wanted to blur the background so I applied an 8X neutral density filter to the lens and opened the lens to f/2.8. The back ground became just smears of color, no definition at all.

I like this photo of a beautiful young lady. Your technique and thought process is very interesting with pleasing results. If I understand correctly the bounce umbrella will have a silver lining, correct? When I have used this method my light seams too harsh and the color is, in my thinking, a bit washed out or cold.
I tried something and would like your opinion. I downloaded your picture and opened in Photoshop. Using Camera raw I looked at the histogram. I saw it was toward the bright side. I centered your curve up by moving the Exposure -40, then I wanted to spread the whites and blacks. To do this I moved the white slider to the right +32 and stoped just before the upper right triangle lit up. On the black slider I moved it to the left -19 just before it lit up the left triangle. The result had additional color and warmth to your picture. If you try this let me know what you think.
