Field of sunflowers

While driving from SF to Sacramento, I missed my exit and had get off at the next one and drive on some small deserted roads to get back to the highway. There were sunflowers as far as the eye could see in every direction.

They grow a lot of sunflowers in that area, Fairfield and Dickson area.

One finds the most interesting things when traveling on the back roads. My daughter and I enjoy visiting a sunflower field that isn't fenced in so we wander amongst the flowers, taking pictures to our heart's content.

I was born in Fairfield .... only see it from time to time driving from Sacramento to SF ..., and SF back to Sacto ... nice shot ....

But if this was sundown, they would all be facing away from him - towards the sun. It must be sunrise - they are still facing towards the previous sunset - or else the "sunset" is photoshopped in. Or else these are confused sunflowers....
