One of my garden friends..just had her bath...
D500, Sigma 150-500mm. Hand held.
If anyone is wondering how I know it's a female, the last pic shows the difference...the male has a black throat, the female a white one.

OK, cool. I wouldn't know M vs F in that species as I obviously have never seen it before. They are a bit like crows perhaps otherwise?

Ron, excellent set and DDLs show off the details. I appreciate the ID ethod and note that a lot of our birds are ID'd in similar ways.

Thanks Mike, nothing like our crows, they are about 4 - 5 times bigger than the Murray Magpies, also they are black all over...
This is one of the local Crows that visit our Village, poor guy only has one leg.
