Hi I'm new to this website. But I did want to ask a question I've taken photos with an old cannon point and shoot and my daughter is just giving me a Nikon D 5300. Is that a reasonably good camera with three lenses to get me started. I don't want to be a professional but I think I'd like to get out to take some pictures for my own benefit. Any replies would be appreciated

I have a D5300 and I think it's a great camera. I'm an amateur photographer and that camera meets all my needs.
