I've had mine for almost two years and am very pleased with it. It's not a fast lens - it does very well in natural outdoor light, not so much inside, although I've gotten good night shots with it. If you do a search you'll find plenty of posts concerning it, most of which are pretty positive. It's a good all purpose lens and well worth the money IMHO.

I don't own one. I only buy Tamron SP lenses and it's not an SP. On the other hand, my closest shooting buddy has one on a Canon T5I and he loves it.

I bought 1 in January, carried on a trip out west through Death Valley, chasing Big Boy, car and train museum's.
If I do my part it's great. I am very satisfied with the results.

Welcome as a travel/walk around lens I love mine, light weight and versitile. Does "okay"with nature but where sharpness is critical birds especially I'll usually put on the heavy Canon 100_400LII glass. For indoors, family events etc. You will need a flash to get a good shutter speed as this lens is slow in low light

I’ve had mine for a year now. I love this lens. It has always performed really well, but since I’ve paired it with my New Nikon D500 I have gotten great results even indoors. I can not give this lens a higher recommendation. It’s the most versatile lens you will ever own with outstanding overall results.

I put mine on my NIKON 7200 and have never taken it off. I love it !! It cover 90% of everything I take. My other NIKON has a Tokina 11-16 for inside shots . These 2 cameras plus the small Fiji in my pocket will take me anywhere.

The sharpness on the long end isn't that great at all. Walk around and no need for using 400mm the lens is OK. Guess for street it's a keeper.... Long end not that great. Good luck whatever you decide to do. Lens is attached to a 7D MKII.

Had some extra money............ Bought as a novelty lens............ I was dead wrong. This lens is no novelty. It's the real thing. Took it on a cruise and, a tropical vacation. Used it on a Canon 5DMIII. Did not disappoint. Somewhat soft at 400 but was only noticeable to the untrained eye. Good lens to have. Taking it to the Zoo next week.

I would say, go to BorrowLenses.com and rent one; I think it's sharp enough - I'm not the purist many are, but, it seems to produce results good enough for me

Really like mine. Very good 'all purpose' lens.
