How is the Benro quick release L bracket or the Selens L bracket for the Nikon D610
Never used Benro, which I hear has pretty decent tripods. I can't imaging their L brackets would be sub par. I use Kirk or RRS L Brackets for what it's worth.
Check eBay for a used Really Right Stuff one too. No experience with the ones you mention.

Don't use them, don't like them. They seem to always get in the way.
Beware! Make sure to get an L bracket made for your camera. Universal ones may block the battery door or card slot door. I got one supposedly made for my camera but not by Olympus, they wanted $140 for it. I paid $60. The doors were accessible but the articulating screen didn’t have full range of motion. I’ve decided I can do without for now.
I bought a Benro L bracket for my D610 from B&H and it's excellent. It is sturdy, fits perfectly, and all the plug ports are accessible.
