Read a book.
If only you knew what that meant.

Well, which is it? The states, or the people? That is the fundamental flaw of the constitution.
"States rights" is just a euphemism for stripping people of their rights. States cannot be trusted.
Since you've failed to read the 10th Amendment, here it is in print:
Quote:
Amendment X
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
The states are the several states which make up the United States.
The people are the individual people of the United States.
Neither the states nor the people are considered in the aggregate. The powers granted to Congress, The President, and the Judiciary are "few and defined"; the powers to the states and people are "numerous and indefinite".
Try reading the Federalist (Federalist Papers). You may even try reading the Anti-Federalist Papers. You might actually learn something.
Even the Preamble was written for the states. In the original draft of the Preamble, it started with "We The States". However the committee on style changed it to "We the People", since no one knew if all the states would adopt the new Constitution. "We the People" was not meant in the aggregate; it was meant to apply to the people of the several states.
