It's in black and white, but this exact image is posted in the coaches' offices and in the locker rooms at the school where I coach. 'Perseverance' is the core character traits we seek to teach, and the image is a humorous reminder of that trait.

This was a favorite poster at Mare Island Shipyard in the early '90s when is was considered for closure under BRAC 1993. Didn't help, it was closed effective 4/1/1996. I was one of those to turn off the lights on 3/31/1996 on my way out. I started working at Camp Pendleton MCB in southern California on April 1st.
BTW, the companion poster shows the bird with a lump in its throat and frog legs falling to the ground. Yep, that was MI.
