Same as for any other place in the world!
Sigma 18-300 or Tamron 18-400. But that's me.
Just returned from a cruise to Iceland from UK, July -Aug 2019.
Nikon D5, 24-70 and 70- 210 f2.8, gitzo tripod, with kirk ball head, Circular polariser and electronic cable release. Little stopper filter.
Photography of waterfalls and whales (used D5 in crop mode).
Protection for your equipment and you in rain, sleet and snow! You are next to the artic circle so any weather may occur.
Tamron 18-400 and a fast prime

Except I would recommend lenses that are impervious to volcanic eruptions.
24-70, I also took a 100-400 but only used it once.
My retired ophthalmologist went there with only two lenses, the 14-24 f2.8 and the 28-300 VR.
He did VERY WELL.
