I'm thinking these might be the last I have for this challenge.

If I get the time, I'll dig a little deeper, but most of all I want to
thank my friend Lesley for hosting another fun challenge. Great
job, young lady.

I also wanted to thank everyone that contributed. Your images made
me sit back and "review" how I see things...thank you!
Tim

p52...
did you realize the 3rd flower is sticking her tongue out?
I think she's trying to taste the rain/dew/water drops...
ok, it's just me... PS... It is an amazing shot! I wish it were mine!

just now... I looked and looked for a doubles glass that was not in the bar--
Sue asked me, did you count the one YOU just put in the dishwasher?

uugh..... no.... so I spent 5 minutes looking for a glass--
I didn't lose.... will somebody step in here, and shoot me?
... just kidding (about the shoot me) the rest, sadly, is true...

I almost forgot about this shot, photographed on a flight to Jamaica, W.I., around 1974, using a German/American Brooks-Plaubel Veriwide 100 rollfilm camera, 2-1/4"x3-1/2" negative, with a fixed 47mm f/8 Schneider-Kreuznach Super-Angulon lens. The camera was designed in the 1950s by an American engineer employed at Burleigh-Brooks, the company which distributed Rolleiflex as well as other top German brands, but they had to wait until the 1960s before they found the right lens (which matched a Leitz finder). The Plaubel company in Frankfurt built only 2,000 of this camera in 1962/63. I bought mine at the factory in 1963.

Do you have a picture of the Scotland Craig Tower? Would be interesting to see if they are related!

I haven't seen it in person yet, but it's in Oban, Scotland. From what little I know of it it was a project begun by a wealthy local man to provide work for unemployed stone masons. It was never finished but it is an impressive structure overlooking the town. You can find plenty of pictures if you Google it - I'm going to Google the Connecticut version.

Edit: Here's a picture of Craig's Tower - actually McCraig's Tower

All nice but especially the last one - the contrast between the white flower and the dark background plus the addition of water drops make it outstanding.

Thank you,Sue
