These birds have kept me amused this summer especially now that the "kids" have shown up. There's a bit of sibling rivalry that I hadn't observed before. One evening I saw 3 daughters in addition to the parents. In the last shot, I've shown two of them having a minor dispute.

Nice shots, Vicki. It is amazing how feisty all creatures are. I have Monarch butterflies chasing the Cardinals in the back yard. I used to keep aquariums and the fish all tried to eat each other. And we all know that hummingbirds are extremely feisty.

These are excellent Vicki! The dls and ddls show wonderful detail and the complementary backgrounds are perfect. Truly fine work and I remain envious of your Orioles, I just never see them in the east bay hills.

Very nice Vicki. We had them several years back and never since! But it is funny to watch the hummers get chased by the bees, white faced hornets and yellow jackets!!!! Good photos.

Nice Captures. I especially like the last one. It is very easy to tell the difference from the female and the male. It is very difficult to capture a bird chirping. You have done a nice job!
