The basics of American Government is that Congress makes laws. The Supreme Court interprets them. It's part of the separation of powers, which is a stroke of genius on the part of our forefathers.

In some cities in America, if you are a certain color and live in a certain part of town, it is a thugocratic police state already.

Well if that part of town is occupied by thugs, I would suggest the thugocratic policestate is necessary in order to protect the law abiding.

Then your thought processes are faulty.

You encourage the COTUS ... which is extremely accurate in detail, along with the FEDERALIST PAPERS ... yet you encourage that a council of nine rewrite it by fiat.

Sounds a lot like the N**i ENABLING ACT.

You are aware when they mentioned freedom of the press things like radio/TV and Internet didn’t exist so ... with your blessing ... they should be eliminated by committee.

Unless you are a printers devil with movable type and a hand press you obviously gave no freedom of the press.

SEIG HEIL!

I suggest a COTUS of 13 people. Add some extra when trump is gone in 2021. He won’t care because he will be going to jail.

First for somebody who served 4 years in the USMC I would think you would be smart enough to know these military weapons (k*****g machines) as you call them only look like military weapons. There semi-automatic and not full auto as military weapons usually are. Also, I will match your semi-auto rifle against some of the semi-auto tactical shotguns that hold 10 rounds of 00 buck.

Not only do they look like them they serve the same purpose in k*****g humans quickly -- One of those recent clowns had a 100 round drum magazine attached to his weapon -- What a Great Idea for a civilian to own & operate

Glad you can't get pregnant -- Neither can I

We're on the subject of k*****g, so I am right on target.
Unless you are one of those liberals who are against guns but not k*****g. That would be a different topic.

Then we are in full agreement -- 10 years ago our government Banned The k*****g Machines -- They can & will do it again -- That's the good news

They were the only guns during that time or single shot pistols. Read history.

Wrong. Thomas Jefferson gave two semi autos to Lewis and Clark for their expedition. He purchased two Giradoni rifles in 1780. Look it up.

PS: You get the last word -- I'm out of here
Enjoy your fire power

Then move to one of them where you will feel safer.
Infringing on law abiding people is not the answer to the problem.

All laws are an infringement, law abiding citizens will follow what the law is or go to jail.

Well I'm back with just this one response ---

Great that's always been good enough for me --
Should keep this forums heavy base of fire guys happy for a while -- Probably also a good idea to pass laws for elimination of the sale of the ammo for those damn things -- If that doesn't legally work then place a Tobacco size St./Fed tax on that specific size ammo - Then filling-up a 100 round drum magazine could produce 2nd thoughts & leave some folks alive

Can you say Timothy McVeigh?

Do gun laws stop the violence in China, etc. Not likely. How many other violent crimes happened in China, etc. since 2014 but were just not reported in the news? The only thing more laws might do is change the weapon of choice for those who want to commit evil acts. Guns aren't the problem. People are.

There was a guy in Beijing going around with a ball peen hammer attacking a lot of folks on trains. I never took the train.
