Thanks all for your comments. I do have a color version (attached), but I felt the B&W added more drama to the impending storm. You can be the judge!

IMHO B&W is the only way to present this image and you have done it perfectly. My only suggestion is: Depending on how you cropped the image, I would give up some foreground to get the tops of the white clouds.

I agree and I've struggled with the crop. I don't think I shot wide enough. To get tops of clouds, I clip the dock. maybe I should try cropping vertical and leave off some cloud width..... hmmm.

I would expand the vertical to include the cloud tops and not be concerned about conventional wisdom regarding ratios. JMO

Thanks for the color version - I think it's great. Maybe add some contrast maybe and fix what must be some wide angle lens distortion. It's a beauty.
