I like to think I am reasonably bright. I can even understand how someone can be so wrong as to disagree with me politically. But I can Not understand how any one, democrat or republican. can be in favor of such an horrific procedure as FGM. I have seen thousands of surgical procedures, of many different kinds. in many different hospitals. but never a single FGM. And would have never been in an OR if an FGM was performed. It is simply beyond my understanding.
