Jupiter July 18 2019

I setup last night hoping for good seeing but only got decent seeing. My view was clear but you could see what looked like heat waves from the wind crossing the shot.
I used my old faithful C8 on the AVX mount and shot 2 minute videos with the Celestron 236c CMOS camera.
I stacked using Autostakkert2 and did wavelet adjustments in Registax6.
The results are better than expected

You've done a real goo job on Jupiter, the detail and color is awesome. It's low in my neck of the woods and though I've tried a 10,500 fr avi for S&G knowing that anything over the house is going in the trash bin. it's over the house on the 15th, I've got too many factors against me. The Heat and humidity is off the charts , trees and house. I'm sure glad you got an opportunity to shine. KUDOS

Hmmm, has there been new activity? Just below the top band are 2 bluish segments.

Here is a shot from a member of a group I belong to. I usually capture the down strains but this night they had either dissipated or pulled up. My seeing wasn’t great but workable. These have been there for a while now.
Great to see you’re still here.

Thank you very much for the compliment.
I’m having a hard time getting fine detail. Monsoon clouds are not helping.

Thank you stepping beyond.
I feel you pain regarding humidity.
I still have the 5200 foot pile of dirt to my east that I have to wait for everything to clear. It makes sure that I only shoot things further up in the sky.
It looks like you’re still making pretty good progress with your results.
Keep at it.

Yes planetary is a different monster, and your seeing will give you a tough time.

This heat and humidity is only good for the pool Jim and Brian , astro anything is waiting on the cool down . Thank you for the assurance , I just wish I could get my color channels also while shooting Jupiter . Last year I didn't have the AF and new focuser . So from "Hell's kitchen" I'm hoping to get a cool down and progress .
