Lovely capture. I worry a bit about the half-an-half composition, usually not good. Perhaps cropping the river side so that the bench side, the key element, dominates would bring you even closer to your intention?

I don't think so. The bench with the trees behind it draws your attention immediately then you drift over to the River from there. the composition is great
