The photos I post lately seem to be darker on Ugly Hedgehog than on my laptop prior to posting. Is anyone else out there noticing this?
Your photos
here don't display correctly in thumbnail due to
color space. Use sRGB for web.
#1 is correct, #2 is what you posted.

Make sure you export as sRGB before posting to UHH.
Thank you Linda. I thought I might be going blind, or dying.

I had a brain cramp, then I had a brain spark, only to find that Rongy posted same info. But note the comparison of your photos I just added to my earlier comments.
However, yes, sometimes images do seem darker
That awful baby shi* yellow background effects the way you see things. In download most images look much better.
If only all our monitors and computers and cameras were set the same way - "a perfect world". ;-)
From now on I'll export my photos using sRGB. Thanks everyone.

That’s what calibration is about.
Big graphics, companies, production houses have multiple people working on the same projects using different workstations. How do they do it? Color management. Calibrated monitors are an integral part of color management.
Viewing a scene on a calibrated monitor in controlled lighting you will see the same thing as someone viewing the same scene on a calibrated monitor in the same controlled lighting.
