Yup. Last instar female Scudderia, I think, or Bush katydid. The angled flat oviositor and angled head (not rounded) are characteristics. Wings in pads will come out long and narrow. Eggs are laid between the surfaces of a leaf. A small notch is chewed in the edge, the leaf edge held by the jaws, and the ovip slicing in like an electric knife, guided by the grooved labium - the 'lower lip'. Several species.
