I think you ought to set the standard , Chris.
Pablo - I thought I did, but I guess it didn't take … not to worry - I will endeavor to get one up as we go …

That’s a really nice look at that tar owl there.
The photos posted are absolutely stunning. Definitely above my pay grade but I do have a shot I'm fond of. Here 'tis.

Looking forward to it. So, it seems, are others.

Not to worry, Pablo … Dial-up - comes with it - all kinds of idiosyncrasies …
You think it's gone up, and then you realize it hasn't, and you have to start, all over again …
I'd believed I'd put up one, to start us off …
But, this time - I did the whole thing in two parts - first - the Intro, then - the Edit with the pic …
Always, before - when I'd attempted to do this - it was as one upload … lost everything!!! …

Maybe not my "very best", but certainly my favorite to print and frame.
California 2019 Super Bloom. Poppies at Antelope Valley, California.
That looks like it would be stunning in a larger size. Can you store the original?

So Chris where is your pic? Don't tell me you live in Texas like me so you can't post your best shot here.

Larry - that shot is just - supreme …
I guess you wanted to get the eyes better - why you shot so close … lost part of a wing, though …
Anyway … 10 points for speed ….

I'd thought I'd posted one to start us out, but I guess it didn't take (added it in Edit) …
Nope … don't live in Texas … but I stayed in a dumpy motel in a town called Panhandle - back in '72 …
Does that count?

Good idea to check all post even if just to re-read them to check for errors. Beats only finding out when someone has to tell you something is wrong.

That was nice Chris; The submitted photos are very nice and I love to see everyone's favorites. I hope others will follow . This is my favorite pastime each morning and I never get bored reading-about and looking at all of the photos people take every single day.
Thanks again.
Why, thank you, Blair - for that commendation … I'm always pleased to see appreciation of things I do ...
