Hey all,
While photography is strictly a side, I am occasionally called on at work to take photos of events, speeches etc. I like to use more than one lens on, but I find trying to carry two or more plus a flash across the room can be cumbersome and awkward. Anyone have any suggestions/experience with a particular waist belt with pouches etc. that you use and can snap on and off. This would also be helpful when I have to go through some thick woods to photograph wildflowers.

I have pouches similar to this that attach to my belt. It makes it easy to carry an extra lens and a flash anytime I need to.

I cannot find the pouches I purchased years ago, but they are similar to this (mine are rectangular and snap on and off.). The back snap strap goes on the backpack side strap, but you might be able to use it/them on a belt.

I would think a photographers vest would do the trick.

I use the earlier version of the Black Rapid Dual - I like that I can wear it even if I am wearing dress jacket.

Several choices. Whatever option you pick, it takes practice to quickly change lenses. Practice, practice practice!! I use Peak Design's "Lens Kit", https://www.peakdesign.com/collections/clips/products/lens-kit . (Watch their 2-minute video. https://www.peakdesign.com/collections/clips/products/lens-kit#mosaic)
Start with only one extra lens before trying with two extras.

I'd take a look at Think Tank; https://www.thinktankphoto.com/pages/belt-systems
I've used them for well over 10 years. Very well made and the amount of bags, clips, etc. will fit just about any need you may have.

I bought a fishing vest at Dick's Sporting Goods for about $30.00. Has a lot of pockets for extra cards, batteries and lens wipes. Also has 2 really large pockets that will fit my Nikkor 70-300mm lens.
