That is amazing, as soon as I read "Shemekia" I thought of Shemekia Copeland. My wife interviewed her many years ago. So we are familiar with her singing and her father's music. She is really a great lady!

Saw her perform in Tulsa few years ago. Great Blues singer. For a little lady she can really belt out a song.
