4014 coming thru town

4014 and 844 are coming thru my town (Elkhorn, NE) this afternoon, I hope to get a few pics. My "plan": FF camera, 16-35 f/4 lens, 1/4000, f4.5-5.6, auto ISO, hi-speed continuous, servo focus, RAW, hand held. Don't know how fast it will be going but it will be moving. Will post a few if they come out.

It will stay in Omaha overnight but people will have to pay $15 to see it up close, not to mention travel and parking expenses. I'll just watch it go thru town.

1/4000 because it was moving very fast, at least 50mph or faster, given where I planned to watch. And, even using my lens at 16mm I was standing WAY too close, about 15 feet away, should have been at least double that. It was all over in a blink of the eye it seemed. I will try to post some later today.

You certainly stopped it cold! But yes a bit close considering the subject size. It sure looks good and it appears the valve packing is no longer an open subject.
Thank you posting those!
