Visited the maritime museum near Burlington VT. The boat was indoors in a museum, the portal was outside in another building. Used a clipping mask to 'see' the boat through the window, opacity slider to get some reflection on the window glass.

Very clever idea and you did a great job with it as well.

Very eye-catching with the strong lines and colors. The wall texture is super. I'm curious if you cropped this or if you have more wall available for a bit more space around the porthole, especially top and bottom?

Yes, plenty of room to give. About how much are you thinking relative to the size of the portal?

It's difficult for me to visualize. Wanna put up the whole thing and let us do exploratory surgery?

Nice. I assume you were referring to the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum in Vergennes.

Yes. You've been there?

I've been there many times over the years. One of my other hobbies is ship modelling. I'm currently building a scale model of the Revolutionary War gondola Philadelphia which is in the Smithsonian. The full sized Philadelphia II replica is at the LCMM.

Thanks all. When I get a chance I'll look at the cropping and maybe at least equalize it all around.

Material at top and bottom can always be added by increasing the canvas size then selecting the blank space and using content aware fill. Does this change it from a photo to art work? Opinions please.
