Pink lines around clouds

What causes pink lines around clouds in photos? I have tried getting rid of them in Lightroom (using sliders, removing chromatic aberration, etc) but the pink lines persist. I'm attaching a photo and hoping they show up for you to see (bottom clouds). Is there a way to get rid of them or avoid them in the first place?

Nikon D7200
Lens: 35mm 1.8
Shutter Speed: 1/1000
Aperture: 7.1
ISO: 200
Fairly overcast day

This photo was edited to bring out the clouds more, but the original also has the pink lines. If I had time to set up the shot, I would have lowered my shutter speed but the heron kept watching me and I was worried it would fly away. So I shot quickly. My 35mm is a new lens, so far I've used it only a few times. Is the pink line issue due to the lens? My settings? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Downloaded, zoomed, no pink lines on my monitor. I'd be tempted, if it were mine, to take it Monochrome and work to kick up the clouds a bit. A lot of folks probably haven't seen herons roosting in trees. Nice!

Have you calibrated your monitor, Audrey?

UTMike: I have not calibrated my monitor. The fact that I'm seeing the lines and other people aren't, makes me wonder if that is, indeed, the problem. I have a MacBook Pro running High Sierra. I'll look up how to calibrate it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Good idea, quixdraw, to make the photo monochrome. I may do that, too!

Thanks, fetzler....confirms that the pink is probably on my computer....or just my eyes!

I had to look the second time, my eyes were on the clouds... No, Never have I seen then in trees. Often I have seen them like brave [or foolish] matadors walk across heavy traffic and stop the flow as they saunter casually followed by mom and chicks.

Red in clouds... well yes, sort of... it may actually be there and not an artifact of your camera. I edited the photo and selected a section that hinted of red, next went to Topaz Clarity and saturated the red twice here is the result.

A HINT OF RED IN CLOUDS

Reviewing on a calibrated monitor here. No pink lines. What an interesting image! Personally, I would probably do a tighter crop and eliminate the clouds in the lower left. I think it detracts from the main subject matter which is the bird. Again, thanks for showing us a very interesting shot.

Like dpullum I see a pink tinge to the clouds. I am using an Apple monitor on a PC. If I drag it across to my el cheapo Acer monitor the pink is still there but only just.

I can see the pink especially in the lower clouds at very bottom. I also see what looks like a lot of sharpening - (pixelating near leaves, etc.) - did you sharpen the image? That might exacerbate the problem. Might be a white balance issue as well - I know when my white balance is off, I can get some pinks and other colors showing up on edges or bright areas... Just some thoughts...

I did this edit prior to seeing dpullum's. I've increased saturation to emphasize.

You could try slight selective (red only) de-saturation to remove, but I'm going with its being normal - the colors of the shadows based on the light, reflections, atmosphere.

There is a heron rookery along the Boise River not far from where I live. The heron nests are far up in the trees and dozens of heron hang out up there. I’ve seen them in trees away from the rookery many times as well, often over water scanning for lunch.

PS: no pink lines on my ipad.

I see some pink and cyanish blotching at the very bottom of the frame and suspect it is atmospheric dust and haze amplified by the sun

I’m viewing the image on my iPad and, contrary to the others am seeing some faint pinkish/violet haloes or colors in the clouds, the most pronounced is around the dark circular spot in the clouds at the lower left of the image. I’m hoping the PP experts can tell you how to get rid of them. I see these same or similar color anomalies in the clouds of some of my images as well. I’d like to know how to deal with them.
