Loc: Florida's East Coast
Spent the last few weeks in England - had a great time. Left the beast and lenses at home and took only a pocket-friendly Canon G9X, since this was just a fun vacation trip with my wife.
One of the places we visited was the Tower of London - very amazing history and construction. Some interior areas, such as the chambers where the Crown Jewels are on display, do not allow any photography.
For you younger hoggers: The last description is a reference to one of the best movies of all times, made in 1951. If not familiar, Google it. Forget the more recent remake.

Sometimes, a good pocket shooter like your G9X is a good alternative to carrying a DSLR with lens. Nice photo's.
Been there, too.
Fascinating place!
Thanks

"The Day the Earth Stood Still", first edition. The second edition was a piece of crap.
Great shots Steve. If you are going to be wandering around all day, the small camera is a real boon. I recently got one (Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS100) myself and am very pleased. Thanks for the tour.
Loved the last two captions.
Great captures.

Agree.
Keannu Reeves managed to act worst than Michael Rennie.
Great set Steve. A place I've always wanted to visit.
