The never ending battle of which is best, not to mention newcomers like Sony and Panasonic, maybe Fuji. This eyeless model (her choice) wanted to weigh in on the debate, sporting classics from each, a venerable Nikon F Photomic made famous, for me, in the Vietnam War and the Canon F-1, which placed Canon as an equal in the SLR war. She decided that each would do the job, a tossup for sure.
Just one pic from a fun shoot with her sister, whose eyes I do share in the 2nd pic.The sister's head shot was with used 100/2.0 Canon lens that I just bought and put on my trusty 6D body. Used Canon flash for fill as shot outdoors in the shade. Very sharp lens, seems sharper than my former 85/1.8.
Have a good weekend fellow Hogs.

Canon, and Nikon, both have some good gear. I find Nikon more convenient. I like the control layouts on Nikons more than on Canons. Also, the last time I shopped both, Nikons allowed most lenses on most cameras....crop frame, and full frame, lenses could both go on either crop,or full, frame bodies. At that time, Canon crop frame lenses could only go on crop frame bodies, and full frame lenses could only go on full frame lenses. Nikon let me have a crop frame body, and a full frame body, and use the same lenses on each. I don't know what is the case with Canon now. It has been awhile since I looked into it. Nikon was nice to me, so I bought Nikon.

The last Fuji I had-a bridge camera-quit on me one day. The batteries were good, and charged. The camera had not been dropped, or otherwise damaged. The thing was two years old. It just died, and would not come back to life. I gave up on Fuji after that.

But two micro four thirds cameras would have made this more interesting.

I know where you are going with this, but then I would suggest that the comparison be the camera elements as removed from a Samsung vs an iPhone.
